Was ist der MBA im Bestattungsdienstmanagement?

Der MBA im Bestattungsdienstmanagement ist ein europäischer Masterkurs, bestehend aus 6 Modulen und vermischt On-line-Schulung und -Praxis mit persönlichen und Praxisschulungen; inbegriffen ein virtuelles Business-Spiel (Business Game). Die 6 Module beinhalten:  Strategie und Wirtschaft in Bestattungsdienstunternehmen, Geschäftsverteilung, Marketing und Kommunikation,  Personalmanagement und Managementfertigkeiten, spezielle Eigenschaften des Bestattungsdienstsektors, Business-Spiel (Business Game) und Dissertation. Er beinhaltet nicht nur umfassenden On-line-Unterricht und Studienleiterbetreuung, sondern nutzt auch innovative Kommunikationstechnologien, um die Schulungs- und Praxiserfahrung zu steigern und Spezialisten im Bereich Bestattungsdienstservice zu helfen sich den Herausforderungen eines sich entwickelnden europaweiten Marktes stellen zu können.

Was sind die Vorteile einer vermischten Methode?

FUSEMBA entwickelt ein Mischlernsystem, basierend auf der Integration von virtueller und physischer Mobilität, unterstützt durch technische Methoden um die Lernerfahrung zu steigern.  Diese Methode erlaubt Studenten und Professoren sowohl in virtuellem Hintergrund zu arbeiten, Hindernisse von Zeit und Raum zu überwinden, als auch in persönlichen Sessionen, die Wirksamkeit der Lernprozesse betreffend der verschiedenen Fähigkeiten, die im Bestattungssektor erforderlich sind, zu vergrössern.

Welchen Titel werde ich am Ende meines MBA-Studiums erhalten?

Studenten mit einem Universitätsabschluss werden den MBA erhalten.  Studenten mit ähnlicher Ausbildung, aber ohne Universitätsabschluss, werden ein Zertifikat über den bestandenen MBA erhalten.  Studenten, die den MBA nicht bestanden haben, werden die Gelegenheit zu einer späteren Arbeit haben und sich Aufgaben noch einmal unterziehen können, um zu bestehen.

Was ist die allgemeine Organisation des MBA in Bestattungsservicemanagement?

Der MBA in Bestattungsservicemanagement ist ein 18-monatiges Programm, bestehend aus 800 Stunden und verteilt über 6 Module.

 Start: 1. Oktober 2010

 Ende: Juli 2012

Wie soll ich die On-line-Klassen verfolgen?
Die On-line-Module und das Business-Spiel (Business Game) sind eingerichtet, um dem Studenten eine Vielzahl von Lernmöglichkeiten bereitzustellen, welche auf verschiedene Lernstile verweisen. Der Arbeitskalender für jedes Modul wird vom Professor/Studienleiter, in Übereinstimmung mit dem globalen Arbeitsplan, bekanntgegeben. Um den Nutzen der On-line-Lernerfahrung zu steigern, sollten die Studenten sichergehen jede Woche genug Zeit zu haben, um die On-line-Mode verfolgen, an Diskussionen und am Business-Spiel teilzunehmen zu können.

Was machen die Studienleiter?

FUSEMBA stellt Studienleiter für alle On-line-Aktivitäten und das Business-Spiel bereit. Die Rolle des Studienleiters ist es, die Studenten zu unterstützen und das Lernen während der On-line-Aktivitäten zu beschleunigen. Wegen der internationalen Natur des MBA, wird der Studienleiter die Englische Sprache benutzen.

Sind alle Klassen Pflichtklassen?

Die Teilnahme an allen Klassen, sowohl On-line als auch persönlich, ist verpflichtend. Es ist ein Minimum von 75% der Teilnahme erforderlich.

Wie werde ich in den MBA aufgenommen?

Alle Formulare und Instruktionen, um sich für den MBA anzumelden, können durch den Kontakt mit info@fusemba.com erhalten werden.
Gibt es eine begrenzte Anzahl von Teilnehmern?

Die Mindestanzahl von Studenten ist 20, die maximale Anzahl werden 30 sein.

Welche sind die Zulassungsbedingungen?

Studenten, die am MBA in Bestattungsdienstmanagement teilnehmen wollen, sollten ein gutes Arbeitsniveau im Englischen haben oder einen BA oder einen äquivalenten Grad oder ausreichende Praxiserfahrung in der Serviceindustrie, um zugelassen zu werden.  Ein Selektionskommitee wird die Teilnehmer, im Zusammenhang mit den vorher erwähnten Kriterien, auswählen.

 Wieviel kostet das FUSEMBA-Programm?

Die Anmeldegebühr für FUSEMBA sind 8000 Euros. Stipendien sind erhältich. Bitte fragen Sie wie man sich bewirbt!

 Was ist von den Studiengebühren abgedeckt und was nicht?

Die Studiengebühren decken die allgemeinen Kosten und Studienmaterialien des MBA ab.  Reise- und Übernachtungskosten sind nicht inbegriffen.

 Wan muss ich die Studiengebühr bezahlen?

Bitte kontaktieren Sie info@fusemba.com bezüglich Daten, Abläufe und die Möglichkeit ein Stipendium zu erhalten.

Wie bezahle ich die Studiengebühren?

Nach der Zulassung zum FUSEMBA-Programm, werden die Studenten bezüglich des Zahlungsablaufes benachrichtigt (Banküberweisung und Daten, etc...).

Was brauche ich um den On-line-Modulen folgen zu können?

Teilhabende Studenten werden einen Computer brauchen, eine verlässliche Internetverbindung und einen Browser.  Derzeit sind keine weiteren Softwareinstallationen zum Arbeiten notwendig. Die Business-Spiel-Anforderungen werden den aufgenommenen Studenten präsentiert und ein Help-Desk für eventuelle notwendige Hilfestellung bereitgestellt.

Was sind die minimalen technischen Spezifizierungen um dem Kurs folgen zu können?

Die Studenten werden Microsoft Office (EXCEL, Powerpoint, WORD), Adobe Acrobat Reader und einen Breitband-Internetanschluss benötigen.

FUSEMBA's On-line-Programm wird mit Java(TM)-Technologie entwickelt, also ist es mit den meisten allgemein verwendeten Betriebssystemen und Browsern in Europa kompatibel.

Was mache ich, wenn ich technische Probleme habe?

FUSEMBA's technisches Hilfspersonal ist bereit, alle technischen Probleme die entstehen können zu lösen.

Funktioniert die Lernumgebung auch auf MAC und Linux-basierten Systemen?

Ja, das tut sie. Ab MAC OS 10.4 ist sie voll kompatibel. Für vorhergende Systeme, kontaktieren Sie bitte den Studienleiter für spezielle Information.

Welche Länder werde ich besuchen und was werde ich dort lernen?

Wo werde ich sein und was ist die Basislogistik für den Unterrich?

Die On-site-Studienwochen in jedem Land werden einem Mindeststundenplan von 40 Stunden folgen, von Montag bis Freitag, möglicherweise samstags, 8 Stunden pro Tag, und aus Wissensaustausch mit Spezialisten, Studienleiterbetreuung, Präsentationen, offene Diskussionen und abschliessender Veranstaltung, bestehen. Information bezüglich Übernachtung wird durch das Programm allen Teilnehmern rechtzeitig vor jedem Besuch geliefert, um sie bei ihren Reiseplänen zu unterstützen.

A special offer at the UK face-to-face session was presented by one of the world's foremost experts in cosmetic and restoration of bodies, Dr John Chew of the ESCO Company USA,  lectured at the Funeral Exhibition, Stoneleigh. FUSEMBA participants at his session received a special diploma.


On April 27, FUSEMBA visited the University of Bath, Centre for Death & Society, with the aim of setting the bases for future cooperation. Anmeldung für den "MBA Management für Bestattungsdienstleistungen"  2010 - 2011 hat begonnen
 

Dieser erstmals durchgeführte Kurs richtet sich an Akademiker und gelernte Fachkräfte wie Bestattermeister, Bestattungsfachkräfte, geprüfte Bestatter, und Bestattungsfachwirte (IHK). Der MBA in Management für Bestattungsdienstleistungen ist ein europäischer 800-Stunden-Kurs, bestehend aus 6 Modulen, der On-line-Schulung und -Training mit persönlichem Lernen zu Hause am PC und Präsenzphasen von jeweils einer Woche in 5 Ländern, inklusive einem virtuellen Business-Spiel, verbindet. In the interest of knowing more about the personal and professional impact that the EC-sponsored MBA and FUSEMBA project is having, we asked the current crop of students (promotion 2008-2010) to answer a few questions. Below are the first set of responses. Stay tuned for more!

Thank you, Jerome, for taking the time to offer your "story". Our first question is "how is the FuSeMBA experience enhancing your personal and professional experience and/or shaping your career goals"?


What has attracted me in this MBA is the possibility to continue my university courses in a modern way with new technologies and to obtain an internationally recognized diploma (the Master of Business and Administration), recognized by the University of Barcelona, supported by the European Federation of Funeral Services.


Why do you think the FuSeMBA is important for the funeral service sector in your area/country/Europe?


The program is enabling us to learn about the latest European management, marketing and communication techniques so we can apply them to the funeral sector. Today it is important to create a European network of young funeral directors, to open to an international outlook on the funeral business and to exchange views on the specific characteristics and specialities in each participating country.

Nuno, how is this FUSEMBA experience enhancing your personal and professional experience and/or shaping your career goals?


I started this experience with great expectations...This is a new European project.  Of course, it is changing my personal and professional goals, which are right now focused on the transfer of my new knowledge's to my company in order to improve the current work system.


Why do you think the FUSEMBA MBA is important for the funeral service sector in Portugal?


At this moment, I'm starting to have a totally different point of view about the management of a funeral home.  Obviously, this change of mind has opened my eyes to new ideas, and I think is possible to create a standard system in Europe (Funeral Homes and Services).


What specific problems or issues will you be able to address in a better way as a result of taking the FUSEMBA MBA course?


I hope to address in a better way all the themes approached during the course. All aspects are relevant for me, from the Commercial and Marketing side to the Human Resource Management and Management Skills side.


How do you think the people you deal with will benefit from your FUSEMBA education and training experience?


All the knowledge gained will be shared (or at least I will try) with the staff members of my company.


What has been the most exciting/interesting aspect so far about the FUSEMBA MBA programme?


The face to face sessions, because it the only way that we can all get together as a class, as professionals, and also as a group of people that is trying to accomplish the same goal: To know better so we can do better.

Joaquín, why do you think the FUSEMBA MBA is important for the funeral service sector in your area/country/Europe?


I hope and believe that this funeral service MBA will help to standardize this sector, at least at the European level.


How do you think the people you deal with will benefit from your FUSEMBA education and training experience?


I am convinced that thanks to FUSEMBA I will increase my knowledge of the European funeral service sector and become one of the first few fortunate people who are leaders in this scetor in the future.

Fernando, why do you think the FUSEMBA MBA is important for you, personally and professionally ?


Since I found out this MBA I've been very interested in participating because I´ve been working as a manager in this sector for 9 years but have not had the chance to receive specific training in funeral service management. This, then, is my opportunity to certify all my experience and knowledge in this business.


Why do you think the FUSEMBA MBA is important for the funeral service sector in your area/country/Europe?


I think it's very important because the funeral service has always traditionally been run as small, family-operated; but nowadays, in a more dynamic and demanding market, this sector needs well-prepared and qualified professionals with a wider business view about management and quality. This MBA, to me, personally, is key to meeting these needs.


Tell us a little about the MBA classes and your experience so far.


Up to now, the themes in the modules and the face-to-face sessions have been very interesting and useful to our daily tasks, but what I really find very exciting is the fact that I can participate with colleagues from other countries and learn their working methods, about other cultures and about the different way of thinking; that´s a " bonus " in this MBA.
